Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Foxfield Plant Consultant (the "Service"), operated by Foxfield Studio LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Foxfield Plant Consultant is a landscape planning tool that helps homeowners and landscape consultants prepare site discovery briefs, plant palettes, and client documentation. It is provided as-is for professional planning assistance and does not constitute licensed landscape architecture or engineering advice.
3. User Accounts & Subscriptions
Consultant features require a paid subscription processed through Stripe. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are provided at our discretion within 7 days of purchase.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for lawful professional and personal landscape planning purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service without written consent from Foxfield Studio LLC.
5. Plant Recommendations Disclaimer
Plant suggestions are generated algorithmically based on USDA zone data and user inputs. Foxfield Studio LLC makes no warranty that suggested plants will thrive in your specific microclimate. Always consult a licensed horticulturalist for critical planting decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
The Foxfield name, fox mark, and application design are property of Foxfield Studio LLC. User-submitted content (project briefs, notes, photos) remains your property; you grant us a limited license to process it to deliver the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foxfield Studio LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Johnson County, Kansas.

Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
Foxfield Studio LLC ("we", "us", "Foxfield") operates app.foxfield.studio. We take privacy seriously. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
2. Data We Collect
You provide: Name, email, phone, project address/ZIP, site photos, and landscape notes you enter into the intake form. For consultant accounts: business name, license number, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see full card numbers).
We automatically collect: Usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, wizard steps completed, device type, and approximate location derived from IP. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser for this purpose (see Section 5). ZIP codes you enter are used to fetch USDA zone and NOAA climate data from public APIs.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to generate plant consultation briefs, sync records to your Airtable base (consultant feature), send brief emails via Formspree, and improve the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Data Storage
Project data is stored in your browser (localStorage/sessionStorage) and in your connected Airtable base. We do not operate a central database of homeowner project records.
5. Third-Party Services
We use: Stripe for payments; Google Analytics 4 for analytics; Formspree for email delivery; Perenual API for plant images; NOAA/USDA APIs for climate data.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of any personally identifiable data by emailing hello@foxfield.studio. Project data in your browser can be cleared via your browser settings.
7. Cookies
The Service uses browser localStorage to persist your session and consultant profile on your device. Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies to measure how the Service is used; no other tracking cookies are set by us.
8. Changes
We will post updates to this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
